After completing his Bachelor of Science (Neuroscience) at Melbourne University, Arif followed this by graduating from the Doctor of Physiotherapy program. Arif has worked in the community setting and has experience seeing a diverse range of clients, including those with psychosocial disabilities including PTSD, anxiety and depression. He enjoys working with the Advance Healthcare team, collaborating with pain physicians, fellow physiotherapists and psychologists to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Arif has a clinical interest in chronic musculoskeletal pain and mental health. As part of his commitment to lifelong learning, he has undergone further training in psychotherapeutic techniques including cognitive behavioural therapy, motivational interviewing and mindfulness. Through a biopsychosocial lens, he aims to provide high quality care to his clients and positively impact their lives.

In his spare time, Arif enjoys reading, writing and taking long walks. These activities help him stay grounded and reflect on his journey.

Arif is fluent in both Mandarin and Malay.
