Ben commenced working with Advance Healthcare in 2021. His journey in healthcare began in 2007 as a Myotherapist who moved to Western Australia to work with a highly experienced Physiotherapist. It was during this time Ben realised that he wanted to provide more for his clients regarding injury prevention. This saw him return to studies and graduate as a physiotherapist at La Trobe University in 2013.
Over his time as a health practitioner Ben has had the privilege to work with elite athletes from the Australian Swimming Team, Australian Men’s and Women’s Hockey Teams, Australian Tennis Team, Athletics Australia, Western Force Super 15’s Rugby Union, Western Bulldog’s FC, Carlton FC, Victorian Cricket Team, Melbourne Renegades T20 BBL Cricket team and the Dandenong Rangers WNBL. In 2015, Ben travelled to Darwin with the U13 Boys Victorian Hockey Team as their Physiotherapist for the Australian National Championships. Ben is currently the head Physiotherapist for the Balwyn Football Club.
Ben’s special interests include low back, neck and shoulder related pain. Ben believes that to truly manage an injury, therapy does not end at its symptoms, but its underlying causes to prevent a future relapse.
During his spare time, Ben loves getting outdoors and camping with his two beautiful children. Ben also has a keen interest in running, cycling, kayaking and snowboarding.
