Christopher is a registered psychologist and has been working with Advance Healthcare since July 2021. Prior to psychology, Christopher was an overnight telephone crisis support worker at Lifeline, a role in which he helped and connected with people from all walks of life.

Christopher has a warm and flexible approach when working with people, understanding that treatment needs to be personalised to meet the individual needs of clients. He also prioritises cultivating a collaborative and strong therapeutic relationship with clients.

Christopher has been trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills. He has experience treating a range of presentations although is particularly passionate about working with anxiety and trauma.

Outside of Advance Healthcare, Christopher is currently completing his PhD at Victoria University. His project is centred on the development of resources to support screen writers in depicting health issues accurately and authentically in television and film.
