Dr Hafezi commenced working at Advance in early 2021, and is a dual-qualified Pain Medicine and Rehabilitation specialist, having completed his Rehabilitation physician training at Royal Melbourne Hospital in 2019 and undergone further subspecialty training in Pain Medicine at Monash Health, St Vincent's Hospital and Royal Melbourne Hospital.

Dr Hafezi was awarded a Merit award for his performance in the Faculty of Pain Medicine Fellowship examination in 2021 and went on further Interventional Pain training at Melbourne Pain Group.

Dr Hafezi works at Peninsula Health as a public Pain Medicine Specialist and private practices in Melbourne in Dandenong, Boronia, and Glen Waverly. He is also an active member in a number of professional associations including Spinal Interventional Society, European Pain Federation EFIC, and International Association of the Study of Pain (IASP).

Dr Hafezi has an interest in multidisciplinary medicine and has an integrative approach to the management of pain conditions. Dr Hafezi also speaks fluent Farsi and Dari.
