Marie commenced working with Advance Healthcare in 2020.
Marie graduated from Monash University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, completed her Masters of Sports Physiotherapy, and a graduate certificate in Mental Health from La Trobe University. She has worked in a number of different private practices in Melbourne, as an assistant presenter for APPI (a Clinical Pilates course for health professionals) and was previously the AFLW head physiotherapist for North Melbourne FC.
Marie has a strong interest in patient-centered care, focusing on the patient’s needs and experiences to shape their recovery with all groups ranging from athletes, acute injuries, work-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. She enjoys teaching patients how to move in better and more natural ways with her background in elite sports and Clinical Pilates training, as well as helping people improve their understanding of health and wellbeing.
Outside of work Marie enjoys soccer, futsal, boxing, learning how to surf, and spending time with her dog Frankie. She also loves good food and enjoys sharing recipes and local eateries.
