Meagan’s journey in healthcare began in 2000 as a Therapeutic Massage Therapist in sunny South Africa. Over the years she has worked in a variety of settings from Endurance Events Therapy Crew to Gerontological care, Maternity support and Private Practice.
In 2018 she was offered an amazing opportunity to study further in Australia and complete a Bachelor of Health Science, Myotherapy. She is especially interested in working with chronic pain, lower back pain, musculoskeletal support for mental health and wellbeing, as well as perimenopausal and menopausal musculoskeletal support.
Outside of Advance Healthcare, Meagan loves the great outdoors, enjoying hiking, photography and beekeeping. She plans to study further in somatic support & polyvagal theory for trauma & PTSD, pilates and yoga.
Meagan is fluent in Afrikaans.
